Our History

Arthur J. Wallace, Helen B. and Albert J. Wallace Arthur and Fritzie Wallace and Albert and Helen Wallace started their funeral service to the Newton area in July of 1963 when they purchased the Toland Funeral Home.  In their, over 40 years of service in Newton, they not only served many families, but were very active and involved with the community.  Fritzie passed away in 1982, Albert in 2007, and Arthur in 2009.  Helen is currently residing at Park Centre in Newton.

Gary and Pat opened the Wallace Family Funeral Home in its current location in 1999.  Through the years, the funeral home has expanded with the addition of a larger lobby, spacious visitation and social rooms, and most recently an on-site crematory.
