Dave was such a good friend. We did many things together including riding our bikes to the Village Inn in Bettendorf to have breakfast with Gilda’s club friends. He would patiently ride along at 10 miles an hour so that I wouldn’t be left riding by myself. He could repair anything I needed repaired including my Hullavator which he repaired twice and then ended up transferring to my new car.
While doing that he said shit. I heard him mutter it under his breath. Never heard him say it before! Though I never met his family members, I felt I knew them well especially mom. So my deepest sympathy and condolences go out to them. Dave will always be close to my heart and never forgotten.
