Lisa Jane (Clingman) Scott

Lisa Jane Scott, 45, of Newton died on Thursday, March 23, 2017, at her home.  A visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m., Wednesday, March 29, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory.  Memorials to the Jasper County Animal Rescue League or in Lisa’s name may be left at the funeral home.

Lisa, the daughter of Gary and Jane Ruth (Riherd) Clingman, was born on January 27, 1972 in Oskaloosa. She grew up in Knoxville and graduated from Knoxville High School in 1990.  She then received her LPN from DMACC.  Most recently she worked as an LPN at Nelson Manor in Newton.  Lisa loved spending time with her kids and her pets.  She also had an interest in aliens and outer space.

Lisa is survived by her children, Troy Scott of Marshfield, Massachusetts and Rachel Scott of Newton; father, Gary (Jane) Clingman of Chariton; mother, Janie (Randy) Utterback of Newton; and her siblings, Chris (Kathy) Clingman of Knoxville and Lori (Sean) Krumboltz of Fairfield. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
