Lizzy Lynn O'Dell

Lizzy Lynn O’Dell, the newborn daughter of David and Amber O’Dell of Newton died on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.  A visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, January 7, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory.  Memorials to Lizzy’s family may be left at the funeral home.

Lizzy is survived by her parents, David and Amber O’Dell of Newton; brother, Joel O’Dell; grandparents, Dennis and Peggy Kooyman of Huxley and Bob and Lesa O’Dell of Reasnor; great-grandmothers, Annie Horstmann of Grinnell and Nina Buckingham of Baxter; her aunts and uncles, Kerri (Nathan) Mead of Winfield, Illinois, Nathan (Laura) Kooyman of Blairsburg, Jenni (Kyle) Esery of Grinnell, Jim (Maria) O’Dell of Ottumwa, and Craig (Lindsey) O’Dell of Monroe; and cousins, Grace, Ella, Levi, Julia, Luke, Jacob, Ryan, Titus, Andrew, Rebecca, Abigail, Hannah, Gavin, Logan, and Gabriel.  She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Wilbur and Pearl Kooyman, Lester and Laura Ljunggren, Bill Buckingham, and Sonny Horstmann.
