Nancy L. (Tracey) Lile

Nancy L. Lile, 70, of Newton, formerly of Newton died on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at Skiff Medical Center. The family will greet friends from 4-6 p.m., Monday, February 12, at the VFW in Newton.  Memorials in Nancy’s name may be left at the VFW.  The Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory in handling the cremation.

Nancy, the daughter of Teddy Junior and Mary Virginia (Devoll) Tracey, was born on February 14, 1947 in Iowa City, Iowa.  She grew up in the Lovilla and Bussey area. Nancy was united in marriage with David Lile in 1967 in Oklahoma.  In the early 1970’s they moved to Monroe, Iowa where Nancy would live until moving to Newton in 2014.  Nancy had worked for Goodwill Industries in Des Moines and also at local area restaurants.  She enjoyed playing bingo and solitaire and doing crossword and word find puzzles.

Nancy is survived by her three daughters, Lisa Lile of Bondurant, Regina Lile (Terry Beck) of Bondurant, and Jennifer (Tony) Beck of Newton; grandchildren, Christopher Lile, Rachel Lile, Tony Beck, Jr., Patricia (Tyler) Hurt, and James Beck; her great-grandchildren, Donald and Ber; siblings, Barbara (Barry) Jones, Terry Tracey, Mary Lou Beaver, Linda (Harry) Jordan, and Larry Tracey; and her many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Lile; and two sisters in infancy.
