| Visitation: The family will greet friends from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, July 02, 2009 at the funeral home. | |
| Those left to honor Ron's memory include his wife, Jackie of Newton; three sons, Jeffrey S. Foreman of Bristol, England, Frederick L. (Shannon) Foreman of Grinnell, and Wm. David Foreman of Kansas City, Missouri; daughter, Colette R. (Jim) Klier of Newton; his nine grandchildren, Rebecca Foreman, Siobhan Foreman, James Foreman, Stephanie R. Klier, James B. Klier, Gabrielle M. Foreman, Skyler D. Foreman, Ciera Foreman, and Lily Foreman; two brothers, Darrell (Nancy) Foreman of Baxter, twin brother, Arnold Foreman of Newton; sister, Darlene (Bill) Clifton of Chandler, Arizona; and his many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil F. and Ruth H. (Gustaffson) Foreman.

| Ron served his country in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War. | |
| Ron was a graduate of Baxter High School in 1963. He had also graduated from the Iowa Police Academy and the FBI National Academy. | |
| Ron was a police officer on the Newton Police Department for 20 years. He was a cabinet maker for 30 years. Ron served as a councilman on the Newton City Council for 13 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church; he was a Newton City Councilman, a member of the Iowa Police Officers Association and the FBI National Academy. He enjoyed coffee times where he was able to talk to people. Ron loved to be with and do things for his children and grandchildren.
