| Those left to honor Chris's memory are his parents, Jerry and Cindy Dannels of Newton; brother, Brett and Dawn Dannels of Pleasant Hill, IA; his nephew, Cameron Dannels of Pleasant Hill; paternal grandparents, Donald and Esther Dannels of Newton; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. | |
| He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eldon and Ruth Beauchamp. | |
| Chris was a graduate of Newton High School in 1990. He worked as a material handler for Tones in Ankeny. | |
| Chris had an appreciation for music and knew all about different kinds of music. He also loved fast cars. | |
