| Helen is survived by her daughter, Nina (Philip) Brown of Newton; granddaughters, Jennifer (Ryan) Repp of Newton and Katy (Luke Gloeckner) Brown of Ohio; and her sister, Frances Hull of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin.

| Helen married Marvin Green on February 3, 1953. She was a legal secretary for Rahm & Thielking until her retirement in 1981. She was a member of Happy Trails Singers. Helen, on the organ together with her sister Frances, on the piano, enjoyed entertaining residents at various nursing homes.
