| Those left to honor Melody's memory are her husband, Terry of Baxter; 3 sons, Travis White of Baxter, Clinton White of Baxter, and Preston White of Newton; her 2 brothers, Larry "Mac" (Kathy) McFarling of Newton and Shawn (Dorothy) McFarling of Newton; and many nieces and nephews. | |
| She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, sister, Cindy Peters; and two brothers in infancy. | |
| Melody graduated from Newton High School in 1973. She was a homemaker. | |
| She enjoyed soap operas and being with her family. | |
| In lieu of flowers, memorials in Melody's name may be left at the funeral home. | |
