| Visitation: The family will greet friends from 5-7 P.M., Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at the Newton Baptist Temple. The family will also have a visitation from 12-2 P.M., Saturday, October 17, 2009, at the Maas Funeral Home in Manito, Illinois. | |
| Funeral Service: 2:00 P.M., Saturday, October 17, 2009 at the Maas Funeral Home in Manito, IL. | |
| Interment: Immediately following the funeral service on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Forest City Cemetery in Forest City, Illinois. | |
| Those left to honor Mary Jo's memory are her 2 daughters, Sheryl (John) Munson of Winterset, IA and Terrie Schappaugh (Terry Burch) of Manito, IL; 8 grandchildren, Cuchandra "Cassie", Brittney, Lucas, Samuel, Ethan, Creed, Abigail, and Eli; her siblings, Kathy (Barney) Gilmore of Havana, IL, Roger (Sue) Green of Pekin, IL, Beth Green of Easton, IL, and Kevin (Priscella) Green of Easton, IL; and many nieces and nephews. | |
| She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Helen (Clark) Green. | |
| Mary Jo graduated from Havana Community High School in Havana, IL. She then received her LPN from Illinois Central College in 1976. | |
| She was a member of the Newton Baptist Temple. | |
| Memorials in Mary Jo's name may be left at the funeral home or the church the night of visitation. | |
