| Those left to honor Pauline's memory are her granddaughter, Lysia Reed (Craig) Peters of Pleasant Hill, Iowa; two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth (Doug) Cloven, and Simon J. (Megan) Peters of Davenport, Iowa; her two great-great-grandchildren, Jaxson Cloven and Coley Peters; three nephews, Karl (Carol) Hoff of Clearview, Florida, David (Pat) Hoff of Newton, and Paul (Robin) Hoff of Norfolk, Virginia; niece, Katherine “Kit” King of Marion, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray L. and Jennie Louise (Duncan) Hoff; husband, William L. Reed, III; two sons, William R. “Bill” Reed in 1999, and a son, Charles M. Reed in infancy; and brother, Howard Hoff.

| Pauline was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her husband and son and they enjoyed taking care of her. She had loved to go dancing and traveling with her husband, Bill; she also enjoyed sewing, needle work, and gardening.

| Pauline was a past member of the Ikettes, Newton Elks Club, and the American Legion Post 111 Auxiliary. | |
