Visitation: The family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday, November 27, 2009 at the funeral home.
Funeral Service: 11 a.m., Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the funeral home.
Interment: Immediately following the funeral service on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the McKeever Cemetery in rural Colfax, Iowa

Those left to honor Ida May's memory are her husband, Don of Newton; daughter, Cindy (Manzar) Shah of Newton; and two sons, Donnie (Terri) Morris of Sully, and Larry E. (Melissa) Morris of Newton; and her six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Harriet (Ball) Masters; son, Garry W. Morris in 2001; son-in-law, Michael A. Woody in 2004; brother, Ed Masters; and two sisters, Melva white and Doris Haines.

Ida May was a graduate of Newton High School in 1953.

Ida May was an active member of the Salvation Army in Newton, where she was a member of the Women’s Fellowship and she was the Community Cares Community Sergeant. Ida May was also the Salvation Army Church organist.

Ida May loved taking care of and watching over her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed crocheting, music, and listening to the Gaithers.
