| Memorial Service: 1:30 p.m., Monday, December 07, 2009 at the funeral home. Skip's family requests close and long time friends share a short humorous story about Skip during the service, if they so desire. | |

| Those left to honor Skip's memory are his two sons, Cole (Jennifer) Weideman of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Kaid Weideman of Sully; his daughter, Trisha Weideman of Sully; step granddaughter, Mackenzie; his brother, Craig (Rhea) Weideman of Virginia Beach, Virginia; his sister, Jane (Jim) Vander Weerdt of Sullly; two nephews, Kody (Karina) Vander Weerdt of Pella, and Tanner Vander Weerdt of Sully; and niece, Betsy Vander Weerdt of Sully. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Freda I. (Adams) Weideman; and two sisters, Jenice and Denise Weideman. | |
| Skip graduated from Lynnville-Sully High School in 1977. For three decades he worked and built a huge client and friendship base across Iowa in the plumbing and heating industry. When not engaged at a job site, he was totally dedicated to his children, their school activities and the great outdoors. He was employed by Sully Transport Inc. at the time of his death.
