| Interment: 2 P.M., Wednesday, January 06, 2010 at Newton Union Cemetery. | |
| Florence was born on February 19, 1948 in Pahala, HI. She grew up in Hawaii and graduated from Hilo High School. She also attended a Culinary Arts school. On September 2, 1972, Florence was united in marriage with Art Rodriquez in Des Moines. They had made their home in Newton for the past 30 years, where Florence was a homemaker and mother. She was a member of the Knoxville Church of God. At the church she helped with bake sales and other charitable activities. She was also involved with a Bible Study Class.
Those left to honor Florence’s memory are her husband, Art Rodriquez of Newton; 2 sons, Nate Rodriquez and Josh Rodriquez, both of Newton; her daughter, April (Jeff) Buege of Waterloo; mother, Purtusa Aguinaldo; her 4 brothers; 6 sisters; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Santiago Aguinaldo.
