Memorial Service: 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at the funeral home.
Visitation: The family will greet friends from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at the funeral home.
Interment: A private family burial will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at the Newton Union Cemetery in Newton.

Those left to honor Kenny's memory are his wife, Sue Yoder of Newton; daughter, Kendall A. Brown of Newton; three step sons, Matt (Latisha) Yoder of Newton, Nick (Amy) Yoder of Newton, and Jarod (Blake) Yoder of St. Cloud, Minnesota; three grandchildren, Nicholas, Irelyn, and Teeah; his parents, Don and Glenda Brown of Newton; two sisters, Kristy Knudsen (Tim Crook) of Norwalk, IA, and Kari (Curt) Tiffany of Newton; his favorite two nieces and two nephews, Nick and Mallory Knudsen and Abby and Trent Tiffany; mother-in-law, Dorothy Sherratt; and 2 brothers-in-law, Tom Sherratt and Glen (Karen) Sherratt. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Glen and Dee Mindham and paternal grandparents, Clyde and Sadie Brown; and father-in-law, Bob Sherratt.

Kenny was a graduate of Newton High School in 1975. He also graduated from Brown Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Kenny was currently a salesperson at the Store for Homes. He had also worked for Hansen Directory and was a production worker for the Maytag Co. for many years.

Kenny loved his family, the Yankees, golfing, horse racing, the Iowa Hawkeyes.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be left in Kenny's name. Memorials may be left at the funeral home.
