| Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M., Saturday, February 06, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church in Newton. | |
| Interment: Immediately following the funeral service on Saturday, February 06, 2010 at Newton Union Cemetery. | |
| Those left to honor Bill's memory are Kristina Gallaher of Newton; 3 daughters, Whitnee, Kimee, and Rylee; his mom, Deb Gallaher of Grimes; dad, John K. Gallaher of Des Moines; his maternal grandmother, Emily Griggs of Newton; paternal grandmother, Eloise Gallaher of Quincy, Illinois; and his uncles, Denny (Barbara) Griggs, David (Jessica) Griggs, Doug (Suzi Kaiser) Griggs, Jeff (Lolli) Gallaher, and Brian Gallaher. | |
| He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William C. Griggs and his paternal grandfather, John G. Gallaher. | |
| Bill was a graduate of Newton High School in 1995. He worked at the Pella Corporation in Pella, Iowa. | |
| In school Bill played baseball for many years, loved running cross country, and was in tennis and golf. He was a hard worker and was always working on cutting logs, mowing yards, working on cars, and other household projects. | |
| Memorials in Bill's name may be left at the funeral home on the night of visitation or at the church on the morning of the service. | |
