| Visitation: The family will greet friends immediately following the memorial service with a coffee time on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at the funeral home. | |
| Those left to honor Dennis' memory include his son, Matthew Illingworth of Newton; his father, Frank Illingworth of Newton; sister, Shirley Van Genderen of Newton; brother, Tom (Diane) Illingworth of Newton; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. | |
| He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty; brother, Doug; and his maternal and paternal grandparents. | |
| Dennis was a motorcycle mechanic and owned and operated Denny's Cycle Sports for 16 years, He had also worked at Central Iowa Bio Diesel for 2 years. | |
| Dennis loved blues music and had played in blues bands locally and in Virginia. | |
| MEMORIALS in Dennis' name may be left at the funeral home. | |
