| Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 02, 2010 at the United Presbyterian Church, 209 N. 2nd Ave. E. in Newton | |
| Interment: Immediately following the funeral service on Tuesday, March 02, 2010 at the Newton Union Cemetery in Newton. | |
| MEMORIALS to the United Presbyterian Church or to Hospice of Jasper County may be left at the funeral home or at the church on the morning of the service. | |
| Those left to honor Moneta's memory are her husband, Don R. Perkins of Newton; daughter, Doneta (Duane) Sullivan of Newton; son, Jeff (Julie) Perkins of Neenah, Wisconsin; her four grandchildren, Nick Sullivan, Megan Sullivan, Tanner Perkins, and Brooke Perkins; her two great-grandchildren, Logan Sullivan and William Sullivan; brother, Lyle and (Lila) Allred of Cambria, Iowa; sister, Maryln (Mike) Croy of Camdenton, Missouri; her niece, Shelly Baldwin; and her three nephews, Danny Allred, Terry Allred, and Trevor Couchman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mahlon Wallace and Leta Leona “Peggy” (Lewis) Allred.

| Moneta was a Graduate of Cambria High School in Cambria, Iowa in 1956. She had also attended AIB and Simpson College. She worked as a secretary at the Jasper County Savings Bank (US Bank) for 21 years, retiring in 1999. | |
| Moneta was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and of PEO Chapter ME | |
| Moneta’s family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren were the loves of her life. She also loved animals and was never without a little dog to keep her company.
