| Interment: Immediately following the funeral service on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the Newton Union Cemetery in Newton. | |
| Those left to honor Danny's memory are his wife, Sharon of Newton; son, Doug Fane of Newton; his daughter, Jodi Fane Versteegh of Newton; son-in-law, Jordy Versteegh of Newton; his two grandchildren, Hunter and Halli Versteegh; mother, Lucille Fane; and his three sisters, Barb Brady of Clive, Iowa, Linda (Denny) Wells of Newton, and Patty Graham of Pinetop, Arizona. | |
| He was preceded in death by his father, Carroll Fane, maternal and paternal grandparents, and brother-in-law, James Brady. | |
| Danny graduated from Newton High School in 1966. | |
| Danny served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. | |
| Memorials in Danny's name may be left at the funeral home or at the church on the morning of the service. | |
