| Those left to honor George's memory are his wife, Christina of Newton; son, Kevin Lee (Kim) Browning of Newton; his daughter, Cynthia Rae (Bruce) Bradshaw of Kansas City, MO; 2 grandsons, Michael Preston Browning of Newton and Mark Phillip Browning of Newton; his sister, Helen (Terry) Gilson of Reeds Spring, MO; and 7 nieces and nephews. | |
| He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert G. and E. Pearl (Arbaugh) Browning and a brother, Dale Browning. | |
| George worked as a Process Engineer Associate Sr. at the Maytag Company for 40 years, retiring in 1988. | |
| He was a member of the Malcom American Legion, First Christian Church, and the Moose Lodge. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. | |
