Graveside Service: 2 P.M., Friday, March 26, 2010 at Palo Alto Cemetery
Those left to honor George's memory are his wife, Christina of Newton; son, Kevin Lee (Kim) Browning of Newton; his daughter, Cynthia Rae (Bruce) Bradshaw of Kansas City, MO; 2 grandsons, Michael Preston Browning of Newton and Mark Phillip Browning of Newton; his sister, Helen (Terry) Gilson of Reeds Spring, MO; and 7 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert G. and E. Pearl (Arbaugh) Browning and a brother, Dale Browning.

George worked as a Process Engineer Associate Sr. at the Maytag Company for 40 years, retiring in 1988.

He was a member of the Malcom American Legion, First Christian Church, and the Moose Lodge. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII.

Memorials to Hospice of Jasper County or to the Jasper County Honor Flight may be left at the funeral home.
