| Those left to honor Charles's memory are his daughter, Sharon (Kent) Quinn of Clive; son, Richard (Marti) Davidson of Newton; his 2 grandsons, Derrick Vance of Des Moines and Charlie Davidson of Newton; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Andrew and Juanita Jackson; and many nieces and nephews. | |
| He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Orpha (Anderson) Davidson; wife, Helen in 2009; and his 9 siblings, Cecil, Carl, Thelma, Walter, Lena, Ed, Homer, Hubert, and Janet. | |
| Charles was a Lathe Operator at Parsons in Newton until they closed in 1974. He then worked in the same position at Midwest in Kellogg for 10 years, retiring in 1984. | |
| He was a member of the UAW Local 997. | |
| Memorials in Charles's name may be left at the funeral home. | |
