| Those left to honor Norma's memory are her husband of 56 years, Robert of Little Falls, Minnesota; three daughters, Patrice Madison of Little Falls, Paula (Arthur) Cherry of Little Falls, and Peggy L. (Mark F.) Rockstroh of Louisville, Kentucky; two sons, Robert (Joyce) Mahl of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and David (Tami) Mahl of Davenport, Iowa; her nine grandchildren and her great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Nevada (Drew) McVey.

| Norma was a graduate of Centerville High School in Centerville, Iowa in the Class of 1950. | |
| Norma was a homemaker and a Records Management Clerk for the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers in Rock Island, Illinois. | |
| Norma was the Past President of the Quad Cities Diabetes Association. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crocheting, needlework, reading and listening to music by Chopin.
