| Visitation: The family will greet friends from 6-8 P.M., Tuesday, May 04, 2010 at Cornerstone Bible Fellowship Church. | |
| Interment: Immediately following lunch on Wednesday, May 05, 2010 at Our Silent City Cemetery in Kellogg, Iowa. | |
| Those left to honor Sharon's memory are her 2 daughters, Cris Burckel of Newton and Kelly Kirk of Newton; 4 grandchildren, Nick Kirk, Jennifer Burckel, Jessica Burckel, and Allie Kirk; her 2 great-grandchildren, Alex and Zachary; 2 brothers, Bill Schmidt of Grinnell and Bob (Debbie) Schmidt of Deep River; her half sister, Brenda Van Dee; and many special friends. | |
| She was preceded in death by her uncle and aunt, Rob and Emma Morrison and Willie Ray Wells | |
| Sharon graudated from Deep River High School. | |
| She was a active member of the Cornerstone Bible Fellowship Church and Lady Elks. She also volunteered with many places including RSVP and at Basics and Beyond High School. | |
| Memorials may be left in Sharon's name and will be used for her church, U.S. Veterans, the Epilesy Foundation, and LUV. | |
