| Those left to honor Mary's memory are her daughter, Nancy (Kent) Cornish of Rock Island, Illinois; her son, James (Joan) Campbell of Council Bluffs, Iowa; five grandchildren, her eight great-grandchildren, sister, Sarah Campbell of Clarinda, Iowa; and sister-in-law: Martha Hill of Newton and her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank E. and Hazel (Bryant) Hill; husband, Maurice in 1992; son, Paul Thomas Campbell; and three brothers, William, James and Tom Hill. | |
| Mary was a graduate of Newton High School. She was also a graduate of Iowa State College in Ames, Iowa with a degree in Dietetics and she served an internship at Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana in Dietetics. | |
| Mary was a homemaker and dietician for a nursing home in Coon Rapids. | |
