| Interment: Immediately following the funeral serivce on Tuesday, June 01, 2010 at West Liberty Cemetery in rural Montezuma, Iowa. | |
| Those left to honor Pauline's memory are her niece, Marilyn (Vernon) Sholley of Newton; 3 great-nieces, Sherry (Jim) Davenport of Des Moines, Linda Sholley of Des Moines, and Shelly Sholley of Des Moines; her 4 great-nephews, Clifford (Jeri) Sholley of Des Moines, Darrell Sholley, Jr. of Des Moines, Timmy Sholley of Newton, and Steve Sholley of Des Moines. | |
| She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Marie (Beason) Sutphin; husbnad, Ronald Ackland; sister, Mary Bunker; brother, Rayford Sutphin; and a great-nephew, George Sholley. | |
| Pauline graduated from Newton High School. | |
| She worked for 40 years at Swift and Company in Marshalltown, retiring in 1986. Prior to that she had worked at the Maytag Company. | |
