| Funeral Service: 11 A.M., Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at the funeral home. | |
| Interment: A private family burial will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Newton Memorial Park Cemetery. | |
| Those left to honor Harriet's memory are her duaghter, Marty Ford of Newton; 2 grandchildren, Matthew M. (Jennifer) Ford of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Jane (Brian) Grannan of Columbus, Ohio; her 3 great-grandchildren, Michael, Madisyn, and Jackson; brother, Maurice (Pauline) Pentico of Pharr, Texas; her sister, Audrey Gilles of San Antonio, Texas; special friends, Jim and Trudy Verwers and Rhonda Carmichael; and her many nieces and nephews. | |
| Harriet was preceded in death by her parents, Earl L. and Hanna (Gunsaulus) Pentico; husband, Carroll "Ike" in 1989; brother, Mervin Pentico; and special friends, Wayne and Freda Weideman. | |
| She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Killduff and Newton, Newton Moose Lodge No. 923, and Richland Grange in Killduff. She was also a Buena Vista Doers 4-H Leader for many years. | |
| Harriet enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and playing cards. She volunteered for many years at the Jasper County Historical Museum, Skiff Surgical Center waiting room, and with many other organizations. | |
| In lieu of flowers, memorials to Hospice of Jasper County or the Jasper County Historical Museum may be left at the funeral home. | |
