| Interment: Immediately following the funeral service on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at the Palo Alto Cemetery in rural Newton. | |
| Those left to honor Chad's memory are his parents, Bruce and Virginia Meredith of Newton; brother, Kevin (Julie) Meredith of Arlington, Virginia; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Benjamin and Maud Versteegh; and his paternal grandparents, Marshall and Velva Meredith. | |
| Chad attended Newton schools. | |
| Chad liked being with his family and friends. He also enjoyed collecting baseball cards, music and playing video games. | |
