The Wallace Family Funeral Home provides full services and a wide range of personalized choices.  Our staff is available to help whenever you call.  We are here for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  No matter what your wishes may be, we offer a range of services to help you create a service that is personal and dignified in every detail.

In addition, we provide a variety of services to accommodate your budget.  Every family receives individualized attention, regardless of cost.

We can assist you with life insurance questions, including assignments, veteran paperwork and benefits, and notifying social security.

Cremation

The Wallace Family Funeral Home provides the only on-site crematory in Jasper County, so you will have peace of mind knowing your loved one never leaves our care.  Many families that choose cremation have the same services and religious rites as those that choose burial.  Cremation as a choice does not prevent that, in fact cremation can actually increase your options when planning a service.  Studies have demonstrated that having time to say goodbye is healthy and having a service is important to the survivors.

When you discuss your preferences with one of our funeral directors, we’ll have all the information needed to provide exactly the service you want.  This opportunity to pre-plan your funeral, to protect your family, and to have your desires carried out the way you’d like, is an important personal step for you and a precious gift for your family.

The loss of a loved one is one of life’s most troubling events.  Many times, a family member has a particularly difficult time coping with grief and bereavement.  Everyone mourns differently and grieving helps to heal after a loss.  When you or someone you love needs help dealing with the death of a loved one, we can help with referrals to grief counselors and support groups.  As part of aftercare, the Wallace Family Funeral Home offers a Candlelight Service of Remembrance the first Sunday in December every year.  This annual event is open to the public and is a time of remembrance and fellowship.
