Brooks Boertje Obituary

Brooks J. Boertje, born Oct. 8, 1973, passed away July 29, 2019, at his home in Newton, IA at the age of 45.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Vicky Boertje Mulbrook. Survived by his father, John Boertje of Kimberling City, MO. Stepfather, Scott Mulbrook and Brian Boertje of Newton, IA. Sister, Lindsey and husband, Mark Sherbon and two nephews, Riley and Jackson of Woodburn, IA and step-sister, Michelle La Rosa of Winterset, IA.

Brooks graduated from Newton High School in 1992 and attended William Penn, in Oskaloosa, IA. A private family burial will be scheduled at a later date. In loving memory, he will be missed.
