John Joseph Farver, 36, of Newton died on Thursday, September 12, 2019. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 17, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will greet friends after the service with a lunch at the funeral home. Memorials in John’s name (checks made payable to Diane Farver) may be left at the funeral home.
John, the son of Dennis and Diane (Bedinger) Farver, was born on December 19, 1982 in Topeka, Kansas. He grew up in Topeka and graduated from Topeka High School. John then received his degree from the University of Kansas. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed cheering on the University of Kansas basketball team and the Kansas City Chiefs football team. He also loved to golf. John had a gentle and kind spirit, a sweet smile, and was really great with children.
John is survived by his mother, Diane Farver of Newton; maternal grandparents, Bill and Emma Bedinger; brothers, Jarod (Ashleigh) Farver of San Diego, California and Adam (Tara) Farver of Denver, Colorado; his nephews, Luke, Liam, and Max; and his aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Farver and sister, Cari Farver.
