Judy Kay (Dee) Clark

Judy Kay Clark, 73, of Baxter died on Thursday, November 23, 2017, at the Newton Health Care Center.  A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 27, at Ashton Chapel Church in rural Mingo.  The family will greet friends from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, November 26, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory in Newton.  Memorials to Ashton Chapel Church or the Pregnancy Center of Central Iowa may be left at the funeral home or the church the day of the service.

Judy, the daughter of Lloyd Everett and Elizabeth (Bucklin) Dee, was born on September 1, 1944 in Marshalltown. She grew up in Baxter and graduated from Baxter High School in 1962.  Judy worked for 30 years as an Administrative Assistant at the Maytag Company in Newton.  She was a member of the Ashton Chapel Church.  Judy enjoyed going out to eat and shopping with her friends and family.  She also loved trips to South Carolina to visit her son and his family.

Judy is survived by her son, Dan (Stacey) Mendenhall of Elgin, South Carolina; granddaughter, Hannah Mendenhall of Elgin, South Carolina; her sister, Carolyn (Francis) Campbell of Newton; brother, Tim (Cinda) Dee of Baxter; and her nephews and niece.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ronald Clark.
