Lloyd L Brown

   Lloyd L. Brown, 89, of Newton, died Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Accura of Healthcare of Newton East. Per Lloyd’s wishes, no services are scheduled.

Lloyd, the son of McKinley and Vera (Cook) Brown, was born November 23, 1928, in Newton, Iowa. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean War.  He worked as a tv repair man for several years.  He was a member of the New Testament Holiness Church in Brownwood, TX, and also pastored at the Restoration Tabernacle in Des Moines.

Lloyd is survived by his children, Deborah (Raymond) Dumas of Newton and Craig Brown of Virginia; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 4 siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents and 6 siblings.
