Margaret “Midge”, the daughter of John and Ruth (Fridlington) VandeKieft, was born on December 19, 1929 in Beacon. She worked at the Maytag Company for many years and later retired from Newton Manufacturing.  Margaret did volunteer work for voting and elections in Jasper County.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed her flowers.  Margaret was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

Margaret is survived by her children, James Foreman (Sylvia) of Orange, California, Michael Foreman (Pam) of Marshalltown, and Deborah Foreman (Jan) of Sun City Center, Florida; two grandchildren, Richard and Arron; a sister, Dorothy VandeKieft of Pella; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Barbara, Helen, and Mary; and a brother, Richard.

We celebrate her old life with us and her new life to come.  She will be greatly missed, but always remembered.
