Regina Irene Wallace

Regina Irene Wallace, 67, of Estero, Florida formerly of Newton died on November 10, 2017.  No services are scheduled at this time.  Memorials to Regina’s family may be sent to the family or left at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory.

Regina, the daughter of Dale and Hazel (Allison) Wallace, was born on April 29, 1950 in Albia, Iowa.  She graduated from Newton High School in 1968.  Regina lived in the Newton and Grinnell areas most of her life.  She worked for 19 years at Grinnell Mutual and then later for the Maytag Company.  After leaving Maytag, Regina went back to school and received her Medical Laboratory Technician certification from DMACC.  She then worked as a lab tech for both the Grinnell Regional Medical Center and Skiff Medical Center before retiring from Health Enterprises in 2015.  After retirement she moved to Estero, Florida.  Regina enjoyed reading romance novels, writing, crocheting, scratch off tickets, and going to the casino.

Regina is survived by her children, Heidi (Randy) Kirkpatrick and Michael (Lisa) Reavis, both of Newton; grandchildren, Brice Bebout and Branden Telepnev; her mother, Hazel Belzer of Newton; step-mother, Deloris Wallace of Estero, Florida; her siblings, Kent Wallace of Hollywood Florida and Donovan (Pat) Wallace of Turlock, California; step-siblings, Shawn (Craig) Retman of Kellogg and Kirk Van Rees of Hollywood, Florida; and her nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her son, Dale Joseph Morgan; father, Dale Wallace; step-father, Ralph Belzer; and step-brother, Bret Van Rees.
