Roger B Ellis

Roger B. Ellis, 80, of Newton, Iowa, formerly of Great Falls, Montana died on Sunday, April 9, at Accura Healthcare of Newton East.  No services are scheduled. The Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory is handling the cremation.

Roger, the son of Thomas F. and Estus Daisey (Bailey) Ellis, was born on February 28, 1937 in Fannin County, Georgia.  He was united in marriage with Lila Ellis and with his career in the US Air Force, they lived in many places throughout their marriage.  After retiring as a Master Sgt. Roger owned a gun store in Great Falls for many years.  He enjoyed breakfast with his many friends at the Gold Dust.

Roger is survived by his sons, M. Rex (Patricia) Ferry of Tooele, Utah and Roger Dewayne (Kathy) Ellis of Riverton, Utah; daughters, Linda Ellis (Kurt) Fain of Ogden, Utah and Charlotte (Eston “Skip”) Ross of Newton, Iowa; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and his brother, Randall (Martha) Ellis of Birmingham, Alabama.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lila Ellis; son, Kyle Ellis; and a sister, Charlotte Williams.
