Barbara Lee Drye

Barbara Lee Drye, 83, of Newton died on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at MercyOne Des Moines West Lakes. No services are scheduled at this time.

Barbara was born on August 25, 1941, in Indiana. She later moved to California and in the early 1990’s made her home in Iowa with her sister, Mary.  She was a member of the Jesus Christ Church of the Latter-Day Saints.

Barbara is survived by her three daughters, Sally, Rachel, and Lisa, all from Oregon; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her sister, Mary (Robert) Swan of Texas.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Earl andLucille Ann (Lancaster) Miller and other siblings.
