Carolyn Ann (Wojcicki) Heaton

Carolyn Ann Heaton, 72, of Newton died on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at her home. No services are being planned at this time.

Carolyn, the daughter of Anthony and Bernice (Klotz) Wojcicki, was born on August 29, 1952 in Illinois.  She grew up in the Chicago area where she graduated from high school.  As an adult, Carolyn lived in Illinois, Arizona, and California before making her home in Newton, Iowa in 2021. Carolyn enjoyed watching T.V. including her favorite “Everybody Loves Raymond” and reality shows.  She also loved her family and pets.

Carolyn is survived by her former husband, Mark Beckert of Newton; children, Dawn Heine of Arizona, Shannon (Dan) Allen of Newton, Lonnie Owsley of Illinois; grandchildren, Amanda, Hailey, Jake, and SeaAna; her great-grandchildren, Kyleigha, Kelli, Sophie, and Auron; and sister, Linda (Danny) Wheatley of Indiana.  She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Kristen Ewing; and two brothers, Robert and Michael Wojcicki.
