Cheryl M. (Patterson) Van Brogen, the daughter of Alvin and Mildred Gates Patterson was born on November 11, 1956 in El Dorado, Kansas. She graduated from high school and attended two years of college.
On May 26, 1993, Cheryl was united in marriage with Tim Van Brogen in Newton, Iowa. She owned and operated Van’s Catering for several years. Cheryl enjoyed reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, sewing and gardening.
Chery died on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Accura Healthcare of Newton West in Newton. She was 64. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Randy Patterson.
Cheryl is survived by her husband Tim of Colfax and many relatives and friends.
