Dale W. Jensen, 77, of Newton died Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at Accura HealthCare of Newton. No services are scheduled at this time. Memorials to the donor’s choice may be left at the funeral home.

Dale, the son of Dan and Bernadette (McDermott) Jensen, was born January 31, 1947 in Newton, Iowa. He was a lifelong resident of Newton and graduated from Newton Senior High School in 1966. Dale held various jobs throughout his life, but he especially enjoyed his time at Bosselmans in Altoona and Bisom Truck Line in Newton. He enjoyed the outdoors and growing up on the family farm instilled a pride in keeping the yards around the barnyard looking good.

Dale is survived by his brother, Doug (Sherry) Jensen; nieces and nephews, Jason (Julie) Jensen, Amy Jensen, Brent (Ashley) Jensen, Courtney (Jarid) Strike, Tiffany (Scott) Von Almen, Dawn (Brian) Haren, and Mandy (Eric) Bonifield. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother and sister-in-law Dean and Cheryl Jensen; and nephew, Clint Jensen.
