David Boyd Ladd, 60, of Pleasant Hill died Sunday, February 11, 2024, at his residence. No services are scheduled at this time. Memorials in David’s name (checks payable to Cheryl Gifford) may be left at the funeral home.
David, the son of Boyd and Alice (Humes) Ladd, was born February 26, 1963 in Newton, Iowa. He graduated from Newton High School in 1981. David worked in IT, previously for the State of Iowa, and most recently for Wells Fargo, prior to retirement.
David is survived by his mother, Alice Ladd; siblings, Cheryl (Curt) Gifford, Virgil (Judie) Chance, and Toni (Greg) McCabe; as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Boyd Ladd; and grandparents, Alice and Avery Humes.
