DeLoris Elaine Antle, 99, of Newton died on Friday, October 27, 2023, at Newton Health Care Center. No services are scheduled at this time. Memorials to RSVP may be left at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory.
DeLoris, the daughter of O.C. and Malinda (Peterson) Norton, was born on January 8, 1924, in Kellogg. She graduated as Valedictorian of Kellogg High School in 1941. On November 17, 1942, DeLoris was united in marriage with Duane Antle. DeLoris always worked outside the home and retired as a clerk at the Jasper County Sheriff’s office. DeLoris then dedicated her life to volunteer work; volunteering with RSVP, at the Clerk of Court, and at Skiff Hospital for 18 years. She was a member of many women’s clubs including the Lady Elks. She was also a member of the Kellogg Historical Society and the Kellogg Methodist Church. Through the years, DeLoris and Duane enjoyed going on golf vacations and working in their yard.
DeLoris is survived by her grandchildren, Kristin (Don) Raper and Marc Jackson and great-grandchildren, Sarah, Ashley, and Elizabeth Raper. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Duane in 2005; daughter, Linda Jackson in 2017; and a granddaughter, Samantha Raper in 2015.
