Diane was born on November 15, 1956, in Knoxville to Ralph and Florence (McCormick) Quick. As a child, her family moved to Kellogg. Diane graduated from Newton High School in the Class of 1975. On June 20, 1975, Diane was united in marriage with Steven Finch. They were blessed with three children, Eric, Matthew, and Stacy. Diane stayed home with her children for many years. More recently she had loved her job as a housekeeper in the Assisted Living area at Park Centre. Diane enjoyed vegetable gardening and then canning and freezing her crops. She also liked to be outdoors on the farm. Diane’s favorite activity though was spending time with her grandchildren.
Diane is survived by her children, Eric (Deb) Finch of State Center, Matthew (Tiffany) Finch of Fairfield, and Stacy Finch (Jacob) of Kellogg; grandchildren, Ethan and Evan Finch, Emarie, Isabella, and Ashtem Finch; Trenton Finch and Lillian Ball; her siblings, Denise (Mike) Flanagan of Bondurant, Karen (Scott) Kottke of Pleasant Hill, and Connie Hupp of Davenport; and her many nieces and nephews.
