Jaymie Stockdall Obituary

Jaymie Stockdall, 32, died Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Unity Point Grinnell Hospital.  A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Least of Saints Church in Newton.  Memorial donations will be used for Jaymie’s son, Robby (please make checks payable to Jessica Stockdall.) Memorials can be left at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory in Newton.

Jaymie, the daughter of Mike and Julie (Loupee) Stockdall, was born December 28, 1993, in Newton, along with her twin brother, Michael. Jaymie grew up in Newton and attended Newton schools.  She had worked at various convenience stores, Earl May, and had also farmed. She was a social butterfly with many friends and was never afraid to have a conversation with anyone she met. She enjoyed making people laugh and playing pranks.  Jaymie expressed her artistic side through painting and scrapbooking.  She was an animal lover, having had a variety of pets over the years—from cats and dogs to snakes and a pig.  Most important to Jaymie was being a mother to her son.

Those left to honor Jaymie’s memory include her son, Robert Maple III; her mother, Julie Loupee (fiancé, Robert Morris); her siblings: her twin, Michael (Brieana) Stockdall, Jessie Stockdall (Jim Stessman), Mandy Baker, and Jeremy Stockdall; her grandma, Margie Loupee; her nieces and nephew: Iris, Stella, and Grayson; her best friends, Marzetta Keasling and Danielle Shives; and her extended family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Stockdall and her grandpa, Thomas Loupee, who gave her the nickname “Frazzle Dazzle.”
