John Yoder Obituary

John Michael Yoder, 65, of Newton died on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at MercyOne Des Moines. No services are scheduled at this time.

John, the son of Duane and Viola (Gingerich) Yoder, was born on March 15, 1957 in Washington, Iowa. He lived in Newton for most of his life. John was an active member of the South Skunk Blues Society.

John is survived by his four children, Joe (Tammy) Illingworth, Mercedes Mullica, Jasmine (Alex) Farver, and Jacy Yoder; grandchildren, Courtney, Keynan, Kael, and Kendall Goolsby, and June Farver; and his siblings, Becky (John) Neff, Kathy (Jim) Collins, and Gary (Lori) Yoder and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Lee Yoder.
