Larry D Youngkin

Larry D. Youngkin, 69, of Newton, formerly of Hollywood Beach, Florida, died Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Southridge Specialty Care in Marshalltown, Iowa. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Memorials in Larry’s name (checks payable to Shari Good) may be left at the funeral home.

Larry, the son of Robert and Ruth (Snook) Youngkin, was born February 28, 1955 in Newton, Iowa. He graduated from Newton High School and had lived in Hollywood Beach, Florida for 22 years before returning to Newton. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Larry is survived by his siblings, Shari (Alan) Good, Hal (LuAnne) Youngkin, and Denny (Sarah) Youngkin; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Jeremy Youngkin.
