Mark J Wierschke

Mark James Wierschke, 63, of Newton died on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at his home. No services are planned at this time.

Mark, the son of Carl F. and Clara (Arrowood) Wierschke, was born on March 6, 1961 in Antigo, Wisconsin. In July of 1964, he moved with his family to Newton, Iowa.  Mark graduated from Newton High School in 1979. He then served in the Iowa Army National Guard for six years.

Mark is survived by four brothers, Fredrick Wierschke of Newton, Michael Wierschke of Newton, Jesse Wierschke of Texas, and Glenn Wierschke of Waukee; niece, Morgan Wierschke; nephew; Logan Wierschke; a great-nephew, Owen Silver; and a great-nephew, Brianne Silver.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Brenda Harger; and a brother, Donald Wierschke.
