Misty D Addison

Misty D. Addison, 47, of Newton died on Saturday, February 1, 2020. No services are planned at this time. The Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory is handling the cremation.  

Misty, the daughter of Harold and Marsha (Shelley) Addison, was born on January 16, 1973 in Kansas City, Kansas.  She grew up in the Austin, Texas and Kansas City, Missouri areas.  Misty enjoyed helping people and was a care giver.  She had a close relationship with God and valued all that he made in nature.  Misty loved rainbows, butterflies, stones, rocks, and gems.  In the fall of 2018, she moved to Newton, Iowa. 

Misty is survived by her mother, Marsha Addison of Gladstone, Missouri; mom 2, Debbie Willis of Hamilton, Missouri; sister, Crystal (Lial) Boggess of Gladstone; brother, Abraham Forgey of Gladstone; nieces, Sarah Addison and Jessie Addison; her fiancé, Mike Boden of Newton; three uncles, Craig (Teresa) Shelley, Stan Addison, and Scott Addison; and her many other close relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Harold J. Addison; paternal grandparents, Harold and Betty Addison; maternal grandmother, Doneva Phillips; and two uncles, Bruce Shelley and Dennis Shelley.
