Randy Richard Martin

Randy Richard Martin, 58, of Newton died on Friday, November 3, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory.  Memorials in Randy’s name (checks made payable Richard Martin) may be left at the funeral home.

Randy, the son of Richard and Carol (Janssen) Martin, was born on April 26, 1965 in Muscatine. As a young child his family moved to Albia and then in 1974 they made their home in Newton, where Randy would live the rest of his life. Randy was part of the Capstone Family for many years and in 2018 joined the Optimae Family. Growing up he attended the Church of the Nazarene in Newton.

Randy is survived by his father, Richard Martin of Southerland and his brother, Rick Martin of Newton.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Carol Irene Manley and paternal grandmother, Bertha Boland.
