Ronald Etter

   Ronald Etter, 68, of Newton, died Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Accura Health Care of Newton.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory in Newton is handling Ron’s arrangements.

   Ron, the son of Fredrick, Jr. and Laura (Skaggs) Etter, was born June 03, 1956, in Newton.  He attended Newton schools.  Ron had worked in the construction and roofing industries. He enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, and drinking a beer.

   Ron is survived by his siblings: Sharon Herrmann of Illinois, Chuck (Sharon) Etter of Colfax, Dwight (Denise) Etter of Ankeny, Roger (Nancee) Etter of Newton, Tony Etter of Knoxville, and Lesa (Dohn) Dean of Newton; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
