Shannon Lee Martin

    Shannon L. “Renegade” Martin, 47, of Baxter, died Monday, June 5, 2023. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory in Newton is handling the arrangements.

   Shannon, the son of Floyd and Patricia (Clifton) Martin, was born September 19, 1975, in Farmington, Missouri. He graduated from Neelyville Schools in 1995. In 2020, Shannon moved to Iowa. He enjoyed fishing, camping, riding motorcycle, riding bike, going for walks, floating the river, and working on cars.

   Those left to honor Shannon’s memory are his father, Floyd Martin of Knoxville; siblings, Sammy Martin of Newton, Shelly Martin of Reasnor, Teresa Tinsley of Farmington, MO, Lisa Lee of Annapolis, MO, and Melissa Lewis Ireton, MO,; his nieces and nephews: Tyral, Curtis, Dustin, Vernon, Becky, Andy, Domainic, Victor, Joseph, Alan, Mark, Joseph, and Rusty; his uncles, James (Nancy) Clifton and Eugene (Alice) Parson; and his aunt, Angie Clifton; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Ethel Lewis Clifton; mother; niece, Tori Tinsley; and uncles, Jackie Clifton and B.L. Jack Clifton, and B.L Clifton Jr.
